Leonardo da Vinci Rome Airport Fiumicino
Located 32 km away from the center of Rome, Fiumicino Airport is now known as the Leonardo Da Vinci Airport. The construction of the Fiumicino Airport has been able to draw numerous passengers, leaving Ciampino Airport to service most chartered and business flights. It is one of the two major international airports found in Rome and is now considered to be the second largest international airport. The Fiumicino Airport operator has been renovating the airport to make it more accommodating as well as refurbishing the terminals to provide better service to their passengers. There are now three terminals active in the airport. Terminal A is where most domestic flights are found. The international and some domestic flights are found in Terminal B, which is quite airy and spacious. Terminal C, on the other hand, is where the major flights are found. There is a “Sky Bridge” that connects Terminal C to the Satellite C. There are numerous stores, restaurants, and other services to be found in Satellite C. The airport is now erecting some stores and shops in Terminal B for the benefit of their passengers. The Fiumicino Airport has numerous transports available, so passengers can be connected to the center of Rome in less than an hour.
